All The Little Things We Crushed
Starting work on sound design and original music for “All The Little Things We Crushed” at the Almeida Theatre. A response to the main show “When The Rain Stops Falling”, this is written for a young audience. The script by Joel Horwood, travels back and forth in time bringing together different threads to a story set in an imaginary but very possible time when petrol has become scarce, environmentalist fears have become true and human kind has collapsed into a dark age.
I’ll be drawing on ideas I developed for Vincent River by Philip Ridley a couple of years ago, creating a backdrop of abstract noise landscapes, a sort of steam punk futurism.
